A NEW BEGINNING

No, not everything is made in Rioja.

From the hope and conviction that Rioja can still surprise with new wines and thoughtful classics, with the certainty of the revolution that complex and infinite whites will bring, and the certainty that rosé will regain its well-deserved dignity.

We decided, with the humility of an apprentice, to embark on a new beginning.

A family refuge

A place where the passion for wine is lived… and shared.

In the heart of the Station District, surrounded by historic wineries, we renovated an old building into an intimate, family-friendly space where our passion for wine comes alive. Here, we produce unique wines with complex varieties and exceptional quality. What better way to showcase our work than by hosting visitors, sharing our story, and enjoying unforgettable moments in a cozy atmosphere with a glass of wine.

We dream of taking our wines beyond our borders, sharing the history and soul of our winery with the world. Each bottle bears witness to our dedication and love for wine, and with each tasting, our story continues to be written.

Nuria & Jorge: Passion and experience

Nuria Vitores, who has a lifetime of working with the public, is a great communicator. She explains the creation of the winery through a personal, heartfelt, and familiar story, without overpowering technicalities that distract from the audience. She conveys, in the first person, a family story of overcoming challenges. She is also a trained designer, so everything related to the winery's image is her responsibility.

Jorge Muga comes from one of the most historic winemaking families in Rioja. After two decades leading the family winery's oenology department, he embarks on a new learning curve, seeking out the valley's hidden treasures. A tireless scholar, he combines ancient agricultural texts with the latest science to reinterpret wine through deep knowledge and constant curiosity.

TIHOM “…of the lands and of the men…”

Among old agricultural treatises, Jorge found a phrase that resonated strongly:

“Wine is the link between the land and people…” The vine, if not pruned, becomes a mere vine. Wine only exists thanks to human intervention. Of all crops, it is the most intimate, the most symbiotic.

By joining the words IT lands and MEN we would obtain the acronym that will identify the winery:

“TIHOM”

The diamond saw

We acquired the building that would make our dream come true, but we encountered serious structural problems. To solve them, Jorge devised a risky engineering project: cutting large concrete blocks with a diamond saw.

They were tough days, sleepless nights. If it failed, the entire project would collapse. But it worked.

Since then, that diamond saw became our emblem.

we are tihom · we are tihom · we are tihom · we are tihom · we are tihom · we are tihom
